"Ron Paul Can't Win" (ugh!)
by Joe?Pulcinella
I'm hearing this over and over: "I'd vote for Ron Paul because I like his message but I don't think he can win." I just don't understand that reasoning. I just read the same thing coming frm Michael Smerconish . He really likes Ron Paul but just can't pull away from Rudy enough to vote for him because he doesn't feel as though he can win. I wrote him a short note:
I just read your article in the Daily News regarding Ron Paul vs Rudy Guiliani and I would like to ask why the "I just don't think he can win" reasoning should have anything to do with the way you vote in a primary? After all, you vote for what you really want, not to win a bet. This is not a football pool. Voting for the winner makes no sense if he doesn't stand for what you stand for.
?
If it is the general election you are referring to, it is my belief that Ron Paul would be the only Republican able to defeat Hillary Clinton. His views are the only ones, Democrat or Republican, which differ from hers. Putting Rudy up against Hillary would only ensure another Clinton Presidency. However, you shouldn't expect any more from a Guiliani administration.
?
Hope to hear back.

Michael is a talk radio show host but even though, I kinda like the guy. He actually listens to his audience when they call and isn't a loud mouth. I'm just hoping he takes a moment to reevaluate his reasoning.
