Iowans For Tax Relief Against Ron Paul!

by Vince?Daliessio

Iowans For Tax Relief and The Iowa Christian Alliance are excluding antitax, pro-life presidential candidate Ron Paul (debate performance here and here, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Bill Maher)?from their June 30th candidates forum.

When asked on Jan Mickelson's WHO (Des Moines) talk show why Representative Paul was being excluded? (while other candidates who were polling lower than Paul are invited), Iowans For Tax Relief VP Ed Failor gave vague, dissembing answers, and accused Paul supporters of spamming and harassing him (a common false charge against Paul).

It turns out that Failor is a senior campaign advisor to John McCain, who is also not going to appear (presumably because he has such a miserable record on taxes, as well as issues of importance to Christians such as the Iraq War).

These people have every right to have whoever they want to their function, but if you smell a rat like we do, you can demand Failor explain why Rep. Paul isn't welcome by email:

[email protected] .

You can sign a petition asking the groups to include Ron Paul at;

PS - I submitted this to boingboing, I doubt they'll run it.
