T-Mobile Cell Tower Saga
by Joe?Pulcinella
On the eve of the hearing to determine that fate of the hapless Concord Township taxpayers versus our own elected officials, nefarious activities abound. Here's what's been going around as of today:
As you are aware, there is a hearing on T-mobile's application for a cell tower on June 19th.? In an effort to notify the public of the hearing, our homeowner's association (for the Ridings and ConcordHunt) purchased signs that we placed on our own common areas or areas of private citizens.? The signs were placed last Wednesday by myself
?and others in my develpment.
?
The signs were still there as of 8:00 pm last evening.? When I went out this morning at 8:00 am. ALL 23 SIGNS WERE REMOVED!!!!
?
Our entire neighborhood, as well as other neighborhoods, have now been notified (via mass emails), of the overnight thefts.
?
We would like to know if anyone at the township has knowledge of who would remove these signs.? We would also like the Township to contact T-Mobile's lawyer to inquire about their knowledge of the thefts.
?
We would like both of you to know that many of your citizens are losing confidence in our elected officials. The theft of thesesigns the day before a hearing on a very hotly contested issue, raises our suspicians even more about what exactly is going on with this hearing.
Here's my favorite part: "...citizens are losing confidence in our elected officials..." Gee, ya think?
