Big Trouble Brewing in North Korea
by Joe?Pulcinella
With all the nonsensical slap-fighting going on between Ron Paul supporters and those of Rudy Giuliani, you'd think that the rest of the world's problems have been solved for the duration of the slow-pitch softball game called the Republican Presidential Debates. Well, all is not quiet with the world? - especially in the Koreas where the differences between north and south are starting to get patched up on their own.
A pair of passenger trains have crossed the heavily fortified border between North and South Korea for the first time in more than 50 years.
The two trains - one travelling from the North and one from the South - each carried 150 invited passengers.
South Korea hailed it as a landmark in relations between the two countries.
We'd better start bombing them quickly or else, uh, or else they might become friendly with each other which can only lead to, gasp, South Korea not needing as many weapons from US military contractors.
