Weenie US Contractors
by Joe Pulcinella
I wonder if the warhawks will start to put down US contractors who pull out of Iraq like they did to nations who left the "Coalition of the Willing?"
Meanwhile a big US contractor has pulled out of the $20bn (£12bn) reconstruction effort. According to The Los Angeles Times, Contrack International, which heads a partnership that won a $325m contract, one of 12 major reconstruction contracts awarded this year, has stopped work on the project because of "prohibitive" security costs.
Wow, that's a lot of dough to just pass up. Especially when the US military is doing such a great job of securing Iraq. Something tells me we're not hearing the whole story from Faux, er, I mean Fox News.
