Adding Bad Credit to Injury

Just saw this on Operation Truth. Apparently, the taxpayers aren't the only ones getting stuck with the bill for the Iraq debacle. The soldiers themselves are taking one for the team after being sent home disabled. This guy barely survived an explosion and came home 100% disabled.
I got a bonus in the National Guards for joining the Army. Now I've got to pay the bonus back and it's $2999. If I would have continued and finished my contract I wouldn't have to pay it back. The Guard wants it back. It's on my credit that I owe them that. I'm burning on the inside. I'm burning.
In all fairness, I must add that after much public outcry, the National Guard droped its case.
