Attention, Terrorists!

by Vince?Daliessio

...illegal immigrants, voter fraudsters, and DUI offenders - North Carolina currently is one of the easiest states in which to improperly obtain a driver's license;

Unlike Virginia and other states with strict requirements, there is, according to (Peter) Gadiel, nothing in N.C. law which requires a person applying for a driver's license to have a "legal presence" in the state. This omission, he says, encourages more illegal immigration and compounds the problem of locating terrorists among the illegal population.

Further, under the federal motor voter law, getting a new driver's license is a fast track to voter registration. Last month the Federation for American Immigration Reform called on the N.C. State Board of Elections to make sure illegal aliens with driver's licenses have not become registered voters.

As anyone familiar with state and county government can attest (not to mention, anyone paying attention to the vote debacle in Florida in 2000), the N.C. State Board of Elections has a hopeless task ahead of it if it even tries to do this.

"Motor Voter" has always been about federal control of local issues for the benefit of the national Democratic Party, as well as a convenient multiplier of fraudulent votes resulting therefrom. But county governments use their voter registration procedures fraudulently too, with at least half or better in Republican control. Solutions, anyone?

The purpose behind it is that by appointing themselves the "keepers of the licenses," they become de facto keepers of everything else associated to driving (no matter how tenuous the bond). F'rinstance, since the State has taken over the collection of child support, it now threatens to take away your driving "priviledge" if you don't pay. Notice how closely related driving is to child support? Me neither.

...fraud & unintended consequences in another government 'licensing' system --- who'd a thunk it ?? Step back from the trees. What is the basic purpose of a "government drivers license" ? Is there any other way that objective could be reasonably achieved ?
