Just saw this on CaptitolHillBlue:

The House draft also addresses the other recommendations by instituting tighter controls on birth certificates and creating an electronic birth and death registration system and tightening up driver license requirements.

I know that a good part of the budget for any government program goes to support guys with guns to make it stick but I'm curious as to what they'll do about me if I forget to register my death with the appropriate agency.

Birth and death certificates are two of the las remaining administrative perogatives that remain under the control of the states. This is just another, nearly penultimate step in the dismantling of the states as entities that do anything independent of the federal Leviathan save tax collection and license plate issue.
