The Mises Institute has released - for free - MP3 audio of all ten sessions of the recent lecture series on the history of taxation throughout the ages by world-renowned tax historian, Charles Adams. I'm nearly done listening to it and it is simply fascinating. Nearly every historic event from the Bible through today has its roots in tax policy. No kidding! Adams has done an incredible service to the world with all the research he has done over the span of decades.
I burned the entire series onto CD and can't stop listening. The stories have all the twists, turns and surprises of The DaVinci Code but it's all real.?The stories are mind-boggling. The characters are (regretably) unforgettable.?This should be part of your reference library.
