Carderock Division is soliciting nominations for The Black Engineer of the Year Award. The BlackEngineer of the Year Awards Conference is one of the premier events held each year to highlightBlack achievement in the fields of engineering, science, and technology. This conference isscheduled for 17-19 February 2005 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, MD.
This is a very prestigious award and requires an extensive nomination package. The attached enclosure provides the nomination requirements and includes a recommendation form. Although the nomination form states the deadline for entry is 30 September, all nomination packages are due to me electronically via your chain of command by 15 September 2004.
