MTV: Choose or Lose

Or maybe that should be "Choose?to Lose." You will if you get your current events from their site or, even worse, from their commercial. I looked on their site for a replay of the commercial which lists a bunch of important things young American's should be vote for such as free tuition and such. I didn't find that but I did find their list of candidates:

• George Bush
• John Kerry
• Dennnis Kucinich
• Ralph Nader
• Al Sharpton

I guess they haven't gotten the news but three of those five are NOT candidates. Nader's own Green Party pitched him in favor of Dave Cobb. meanwhile, the Libertarian candidate, Michael Badnarik was conspicuously missing.

MTV lists their own favorite issues but they defer to Public Agenda for?"more in-depth issue guides." Before you click their link, I must warn you. Child Care makes their short list of presidential duties.

I see nothing wrong to encourage poeple to vote - but the misinformation is your std garden variety "vote for the booty you want"

I sent an email to the MTV people. I don't expect it will do any good, but I set the record straight.
