Here in America's (somewhat) free market, I can get whatever I want whenever I want due to price signals which tell producers how much of a certain good to make and where it is needed. The system always works in good times and bad. So why can't the US Marines get the 824 much-needed, uparmored Humvees that are presently sitting in Texas?

I've always heard that you never miss something you never had. Russians who grew up behind the Iron Curtain never missed their freedom and apparently, lifelong military folk have simply learned to live with shortages and never wondered why.
