Arlen Misses His Chance
by Steve M
Maybe instead of doing his party's bidding, Arlen could stand up for what's right.
"I think her record shows very substantial capacity to take on tough assignments and do them well," he said in an interview, though he also said she lacked experience in constitutional law and would face tough questioning.
Doing tough assignments isnt enough to nominate Harriet the Lapdog. Lacking experience or demonstrated interest, academically or professionally, in constitutional law is exactly why she's a LOUSY choice. John Roberts, while true an administration insider, clerked for the court, and argued before the court (20+ cases), and has demonstrated an understanding of consitutional law. We all know that insiders sometimes get the plumb appointments, but this one is for life, and there were many other, much better choices.
