I spent some time working in the Caribbean a few years back, in Trinidad. Here in the US, Blacks make up 15% of the population, there, blacks are 40%, along with 40% East Indian, a huge non-white population descended from either slaves or indentured servants (virtual slaves). Yet a tiny minority of urban blacks there plays the race card (against the East Indians!) EXACTLY as a tiny elite minority does here, in a completely different social and historic context. Yet the race rhetoric that these people use is identical, no doubt from indoctrination in the race camps of our elite institutions of learning.

It’s time to stop the state from continuing to emphasize race. History has shown that this always causes great harm. Let us deal with one another as individual free men, not as herds of government-owned beasts.

All this makes one wonder why the auto leaders aren’t beating a mad dash to the bankruptcy clerk’s office to file and rejecting the billions of taxpayer money from the government, which will manage them into the dirt, anyway. At least the bankruptcy option gives them a chance to put the assets in Detroit to more productive use in a new environment.

Where I live, we only have a K-Mart, and because there has been no direct compitition, the store is a joke. The management obviously knows there is no other place to shop, so the customers are treated accordingly. We are deperately waiting for our WalMart Supercenter to arrive, and do K-Mart in. That’s the American Way.
